Biography: Christopher J. DeSimone


Education: University of Virginia (B.A. Economics and Government, 2005); George Mason University School of Law (J.D., 2008).

Bar Admissions: Commonwealth of Virginia, 2008; U.S. District Court for Eastern District of Virginia, 2009; U.S. Bankruptcy Court for Eastern District of Virginia, 2010.

Professional Memberships: Fairfax Bar Association; Virginia State Bar.

Professional Experience: Chris joined the Gross & Romanick team in 2007. Prior to that, he gained valuable legal experience at the Charlottesville Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and the in-house legal department of the Washington-Baltimore area's largest health care organization. At Gross & Romanick, Chris primarily handles business law and transactional matters. Chris advises business clients on a wide variety of issues, including but not limited to entity formation, employment matters, landlord/tenant matters, commercial disputes and the buying/selling of businesses. Chris has reviewed, drafted and negotiated countless operating agreements, employment agreements, leases, commercial contracts and business sale/purchase agreements. Chris also assists in the firm's litigation and criminal practices, and frequently appears in Court to advocate for the interests of his clients.

Personal: Chris is a lifelong resident of Northern Virginia and currently resides in Fairfax with his wife. In his free time, he enjoys sports, music, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
